Sara Prinsloo is from a small village on the outskirts of Manchester, currently living and working in Sheffield.

BA Fine Art / MA Illustration. Working in both 2D and 3D mediums.

"I like to explore topics of lived experiences, through creative mediums. Growing up as a working-class child in the UK during the 90's and 00's I was fully immersed in the 'Ladette' and 'Chav' culture.

We were reckless and irresponsible, we were chaotic and excessive. It's these culturally relevant lives which I wish to share in the art world, from a working-class, female perspective."

Sara's work has been showcased throughout the UK including Somerset House and Cooper Gallery.

As well as exploring her own artistic themes, Sara offers commission based work including illustration, fine art, sculpture and props making.

Sara also hosts creative workshops and has given talks for Universities and discussion groups.
